Or, if you prefer, you can rent bicycles during your Island stay. You can pick from an assortment of bikes that are just right for you.
Martha’s Vineyard Bike Rentals in Edgartown will deliver your “ride” directly to the Winnetu Oceanside Resort, so it will be waiting for you upon your arrival. Choose from among hybrids, road bikes, tandems, and alley cats. Helmets and locks are provided with all rentals.

The Winnetu Oceanside Resort is conveniently located at the beginning of the bicycle path that leads to Edgartown and beyond — a wonderful outing for all ages. Bike paths range from easy and flat between the Resort and Edgartown (good for all ages) – to challenging and hilly between the Resort and Gay Head Cliffs (good for the pros!) We have maps on-hand that detail all the bicycling options that are available to everyone.

Before Winnetu (approx. 150 years ago), the Mattakeset Lodge was the place to spend the summer months in Katama. The hotel was famous for its clambakes, dances, and ocean breezes.
