Yoga with Emily

At the Winnetu, you can enjoy complimentary yoga classes on the Hotel’s Front Lawn. Please review your Activities Schedule upon check-in for the latest up-to-date times and locations.

Private Instruction

Private yoga instruction is now also available. $150 per hour, call the concierge to book (48 hours notice is required).

Sunrise Run with Alyssa

Start your day with fresh air, good company, and beautiful sunrise views over Katama. This easygoing morning run is open to all paces and experience levels — whether you’re jogging, running, or somewhere in between. We’ll explore the scenic roads and trails of Martha’s Vineyard together, with a focus on connection, movement, and enjoying the moment.

Functional Strength Training with Alyssa

Move, strengthen, and feel your best with this supportive, bodyweight-based class. We’ll focus on functional exercises that build everyday strength, improve stability, and keep you feeling energized. All levels are welcome — come as you are and leave feeling stronger.

Pilates with Rachel

jUNE 23-sEPTEMBER 12 | tues & thurs classical pilates at 8 am

Classical Pilates

This class incorporates the traditional sequence of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates to build core strength, improve posture, and enhance flexibility. Using breath, control, and precise movements, students will flow through a series of mat based exercises designed to strengthen and align the body from the inside out.

Meet the Instructors

Alyssa

Alyssa Camara is a well rounded fitness professional with a love for whole foods, salt water, and sunshine. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and is a Certified Personal Trainer specializing in women’s health. Based in Boston, Alyssa works at a private women’s health club, coaches marathon runners, provides nutrition consultations and private training sessions. She will be leading a run club from beginners to seasoned runners—and a functional strength class focused on everyday movement and mobility.

Emily

Emily Solarazza BA, MT, YT has been studying yoga and mind-body connection for over 30 years. She completed her first of several yoga teacher trainings in 1999. She has lived and worked at renowned holistic centers including the Kripalu Yoga Center, the Omega Institute and the Rocky Mountain Shambala Center. Emily also has a rich background in Qi Gong, laughter yoga, meditation, massage therapy, energywork and counseling. Her love for helping students connect with the best part of themselves and the beauty around them is palpable. Known for her lighthearted approach and grounded expertise, Emily creates an inclusive and uplifting environment that invites students to go at their own pace to reconnect with their inner selves and the world around them. For over 15 years, her yoga classes at the Winnetu have been a cherished highlight for guests. Emily lives year-round on Martha’s Vineyard with her husband and two teenagers where she continues to share her passion for mindful living.

Rachel

Rachel is thrilled to be spending her first summer on Martha’s Vineyard. Based in Manhattan, New York, she is a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Pilates Instructor. Over the years, Rachel has led a wide variety of group fitness classes including HIIT, Strength Training, Kickboxing, and Orangetheory Fitness. She looks forward to bringing her energy, passion for movement, and love of Pilates to the Vineyard this season.

Randi

Randi Stone, owner of NYC Pilates in NYC has almost 20 years of experience teaching Pilates. Randi  trained with Romana Kryzanowska, Joe Pilates’ protege and Sue Hitzman, creator of the MELT Method (myofascial release) , as well as Julie Tupler, founder of Diastasis Rehab (Getting rid of the mummy tummy), Randi has been featured on Access Hollywood, in the NY Times and in numerous other publications, such as Livestrong.com and Realsimple.com. . Randi is known for her deep and meaningful teaching. When possible, she uses props to mimic the Pilates studio equipment so class participants get as much out of each exercise as possible.  And, if you come to Pilates and Prosecco on Thursday evenings, you have to earn that drink!
