Explore Chappaquiddick by Taking a Lighthouse & Dune Tour
Travel via an open-air vehicle across the famous Chappaquiddick Dike Bridge, and Great Barrier Beach, to the spectacular Cape Pogue Lighthouse on Martha’s Vineyard.
Climb the spiral staircase of the century-old Cape Pogue wooden lighthouse and discover intriguing stories of the lighthouse keepers who watched over these ocean waters for nearly 150 years. Views from atop the Cape Pogue Lighthouse are breathtaking, and the accompanying guided tour of the barrier beach at Cape Pogue Wildlife Refuge makes this the perfect trip for families and individuals of all ages! If time allows, a walk-through of Mytoi Gardens, a Japanese-inspired Garden and Pond that is tranquil and serene, is a must!
Available May 26 to June 1 and July 8 to October 8, 2018*
*Please Note: Due to the Piping Plovers nesting on the Great Barrier Beach, this tour is not available from June 2 through July 7. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience.
