Hop a ride in one of the fully restored antique vehicles we keep on-hand at the Winnetu. Whether it’s a ride around Katama in our antique firetruck, or a breeze around town in the wood paneled Winnetu Jitney.
Arrive & Drive
Arrive and drive with our on-site car rentals! Arrange to have a car waiting for you at the ferry dock, or rent a car for the day with an on-site rental agent!
Leave the car on the mainland and arrive in-style with our VIP Island Queen package. We’ll take care of pick-up and drop-off while you enjoy the journey!

Spend an evening at The Dunes, our in-house restaurant featuring a contemporary take on New England Coastal Cuisine. Share a drink or a meal on our deck with views over South Beach and firepits to gather around.
Enjoy an afternoon on Katama Bay with Ryan and Julia Smith of Signature Oysters, a local oyster farming operation right in our backyard. Tour their farm, shuck oysters picked right from the water, and enjoy a memorable BYOB experience out on the sparkling waters of Katama Bay.
Tommy is our Chief Engineer and he keeps everything around here running. From keeping the Jitney’s engine humming to maintaining the swimming pools at a balmy 84 degrees, Tommy knows how to get it done....

Before Winnetu (approx. 150 years ago), the Mattakeset Lodge was the place to spend the summer months in Katama. The hotel was famous for its clambakes, dances, and ocean breezes.
