Arrive and drive with our on-site car rentals! Take a Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator with over-sand permits out for a drive on Norton Point Beach.
Bring your best friend with you! With great dog walking, beaches to run on, and a big lawn in front, the Winnetu is a dog’s paradise.
Leave the car on the mainland and arrive in-style with our VIP Island Queen package. We’ll take care of pick-up and drop-off while you enjoy the journey!
You’re never far from the island’s best shopping, dining, and historic architecture when you’re with us. Our shuttles run regularly right into the heart of downtown. Shuttle schedules are posted each day and are free to our guests!
Enjoy an afternoon on Katama Bay with Ryan and Julia Smith of Signature Oysters, a local oyster farming operation right in our backyard. Tour their farm, shuck oysters picked right from the water, and enjoy a memorable BYOB experience out on the sparkling waters of Katama Bay.

Before Winnetu (approx. 150 years ago), the Mattakeset Lodge was the place to spend the summer months in Katama. The hotel was famous for its clambakes, dances, and ocean breezes.
