Rachel Dodson, the Winnetu’s Wedding and Events Manager, is here to help you with all the details.

In order to help you create your very own Martha’s Vineyard Wedding, you will receive complimentary and personalized planning services from our dedicated Wedding and Events Manager, Rachel Dodson.

During the planning process, Rachel and our Winnetu Oceanside Resort team will be available to:

  • Act as your personal Resort contact
  • Propose recommendations based upon your vision of the perfect wedding celebration
  • Design a personalized plan with a reception layout and seating plan
  • Recommend local specialty vendors
  • Provide a final plan of events, menu/bar selections, and a cost estimate
  • Assist you in creating a detailed Day of Timeline
  • Obtain final food and beverage counts
  • Contact and coordinate the arrival times and set-up needs of your selected vendors
  • Schedule/conduct a rehearsal of your wedding ceremony
  • Introduce you to the Banquet Manager assigned to your Martha’s Vineyard wedding
  • Finalize any last-minute details

On your wedding day, our Winnetu team will also be on hand to:

  • Oversee the layout and seating arrangements for your wedding ceremony and reception
  • Check in with you and your wedding party to make sure that everyone’s needs have been met
  • Greet and assist your vendors with set-up instructions/locations
  • Review your schedule of introductions and announcements with your reception DJ or Emcee
  • Arrange your favors, place cards, and specialty wedding items
  • Welcome arriving wedding guests and direct them to your wedding ceremony location
  • Coordinate all transportation arrangements to-and-from your wedding ceremony
  • Organize your wedding party per the order and timing of your ceremony procession
  • Guide guests to your wedding reception at the conclusion of your ceremony
