Explore Nantucket, the Vineyard’s Sister Island

Nantucket is an historic, World famous and beautiful day-trip destination.

This is the best and only way to visit Nantucket, for the day, from the Vineyard! Enjoy 4-1/2 hours ashore (on Tuesdays) or 5-1/2 hours ashore (on Saturdays) to shop; visit the Whaling Museum; rent bikes (or bring your own); have lunch; or take a tour of the Island (we recommend Ara’s Tours; click here).

You’ll head over to Nantucket on our privately chartered, 30-passenger ferry (a.k.a., the “Quick-Water”) — a converted, oil rig supply vessel from New Orleans — for a fun, 1-1/2 hour voyage. Return via Hy-Line’s luxurious, high-speed catamaran (i.e. a one-hour trip).
