Fishing Discovery Tours on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard

Experience the natural beauty of the legendary fishing beaches on one of our morning Fishing Tours.

Join one of the Trustees of Reservations’ expert fishing guides on an over-the-sand vehicle tour of Chappaquiddick and learn the artful skills of surf-casting, reading the waters, and filleting a fish.

You’ll experience the natural beauty of legendary fishing beaches, such as Wasque and the Cape Pogue Gut, and also try your luck at catching and identifying many different marine species. The trip includes fishing pole rentals, lures, lines, a bottled water, piece of fruit, and granola bar. Transportation to/from the Resort is also included. You can either return via our Winnetu Shuttle Service or stay in Edgartown for a leisurely lunch and shopping before returning on your own — via the town-operated VTA bus — for an additional $1.00 more.

(Please Note: Round-trip ferry fare to-and-from Chappaquiddick not included: $4.00 round trip; free for children ages 5 and under).

Price: $100.00 per adult; $30 per child (aged 9-15 years)*

*Note: Due to the nature of fishing along the shoreline, this tour is best suited for children over the age of 9 years.

Leave the Resort at 8:00 a.m. (Tour is offered from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
