The price for this special dining event is $38.00 each for adults — plus tax and gratuity — $20.00 each for children (ages 4 to 12 years) — plus tax and gratuity — and Free for kids under four years.

Lure's Executive Chef, Mark Goldberg

Chef Goldberg is a native of Hingham, Massachusetts and a Newbury College for Culinary Arts graduate. He has over a decade of New England-based culinary experience.

Mark formerly hailed from Mistral — Boston's highly acclaimed French-Mediterranean bistro; Boston's "Top of the Hub" restaurant; and the award-winning restaurant and resort, "The Lodge at Koele in Lana'i" in Hawaii.

He has a passion for "farm-to-table" cuisine and applies fresh, local ingredients to traditional New England cooking. His signature dishes feature locally caught Katama Bay oysters, swordfish, and fluke.

May 2008 Wine Dinner Series

We are currently planning a special "Wine Dinner Series, offering dining patrons a chance to experience specialty wines from around the world. This offering will be featured every Friday evening in May — with the exception of May 9th.

Each wine series will kick-off with hors d'oeuvres and an apertif reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a special, four-course menu with matched wines. The cost is $95.00 — with a special rate of $85.00 extended to guests staying at the Winnetu Oceanside Resort.

May 2nd kicks off the event. Kate Cassidy, the New England District Manager of Boisset Family Estates, will be onhand to explain why Burgundy and Bordeaux wines are incredible and still great values. In turn, you will be able to sample a variety of wines and discuss their interaction with our Chef's complementary food pairings, which includes:

  1. Passed Hors d'oeuvres — teamed with a 2006 Bouchard Aine & Fils Macon-Villages
  2. Crab & Quinoa Salad (with whole-grain mustard vinaigrette) — paired with a 2006 J. Moreau & Fils Chablis
  3. Anise Oil-Poached Salmon (with shaved fennel & grapefruit) — teamed with a 2005 Jean-Claude Boisset Gevrey-Chambertin
  4. Roasted Rack of Lamb & Braised Lamb Breast (with spring bean cassoulet & pickled cherries) — paired with a 2005 Domaine de la Vougeraie Pommard
  5. Strawberry Tart & Rose Champagne Sabayon — teamed with a N/V Louis Bouillot Perle d'Aurore Rose Brut

On the following dates, these additional vineyards will be showcased:

  • May 16th — Joseph Carr Winery — Join Cape Cod resident Joseph Carr for an exploration of Negociant, small production wines from Napa Valley, Carneros and the Sonoma Coast
  • May 23rd — Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery — This winery is one of Sonoma's oldest and it excels in a large portfolio of varietals and blends. Donna Hutchinson helps you compare and contrast them
  • May 30th — "Summer Trip To Europe" — Lisa Kulp, from Ruby Wine & Spirits, introduces great values and new summer sizzlers from her European wine portfolio — just in time for summer
